Why Do the Changes to My Plone Site not Appear?
When you make a change to something in portal_skins you need to sometimes also clear the ZODB cache in order for the Plone site to show the change. To clear the cache, navigate to Control Panel > Database Management > main (or whatever ZODB the Plone site is on) > Flush Cache and click on the Minimize button.
