Refund Policy
High Speed Rails' refund policy.
High Speed Rails requires only a month to month commitment for its own hosting plans. As such High Speed Rails requires 30 days notice of cancellation. High Speed Rails will process refunds as follows.
Payments by Credit Card
For monthly credit card payments, there are no refunds except where the client has cancelled in the middle of a payment period, in which case we will pro-rate a refund from the following month's payment.
For quarterly payments, we will refund any remaining unused balance taking into account the required 30 days notice of cancellation.
For annual payments where the account is cancelled before the end of the annual term, clients will be refunded the difference between what was paid and what would have been paid under the monthly payment terms for the same account, taking into account the required 30 days notice of cancellation.
Payments by Other Means
For payment made by means other than credit card, for example check or bank transfer, the minimum amount we will refund is the equivalent of 6 months of payments for the hosting account or $300, whichever is greater. There is a processing fee for refunds on non-credit card transactions of 15% of the refund amount or $50 whichever is greater.
Setup Fees
Setup fees are never refundable and where a setup fee is waived due to annual payment and the client cancels before the end of the annual period, that setup fee will then be charged.
AUP Violations
Where a client has violated our Acceptable Use Policy leading to an early termination, no refund is available.
99-Day Money Back Guarantee
High Speed Rails offers a 99-day money back guarantee on all hosting plans. Note that this offer does not apply to cases where High Speed Rails terminated the account for any reason.
